Sports and games activities have continued to increase with development of sports facilities. These segments of co-curriculum activities have continued to play a crucial part in talent development amongst the students and staff. There are 16 men and 12 women registered sports and games teams. There is one fitness club for staff.
The University participates in Nyeri County League, Kenya University National Sports Association (KUSA) championships, the annual East African Games competitions among other championships. The teams have been performing well at all levels.
As the University continues to grow, the Student Welfare Directorate will also strengthen its departments to ensure that it continues to serve the students and maintain quality of the services offered.
