This four year Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Information Science and Remote Sensing is designed for students who desire to find employment in the private and public sectors, particularly within the fields such as environment, urban planning, or disaster management. Taken on campus at The Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, this programme takes place over two semesters, with a research project in the final year to give students a comprehensive and well-rounded learning experience.

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the fundamentals of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) theory and technologies through the use of problem solving and spatial thinking skills.
