Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) in collaboration with University of Saarland, Germany, Chuka University and Karatina University, won a grant for Developing Capacity towards Entrepreneurial University from DAAD, Germany. The project titled “Developing Entrepreneurial Universities in Kenya (DePUK)” was funded from May 2018 and will continue to the year 2021. DePUK project delegation undergo extensive trainings and exposure on the structures, systems and capacity building required to engender applied research, innovation, Business startups, entrepreneurial training and Science & Technology Park (STP). The activities have commenced with the first activity in DeKUT Scheduled for 10th of July 2018. Other activities in the course of this year are scheduled for September and November 2018 respectively.
