INTENTION TO PROCURE THROUGH DIRECT TENDER

Pursuant to Section 103 (2)(b) &103 (2)(d) of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015, the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) hereby wishes to notify all interested persons, of the intention to procure the subject goods through Direct Procurement Method.

The Tender document shall be published on Thursday 18th June 2026 to a specific bidder M/s. Kenya Education Network (KENET). Those interested parties and may want to participate can obtain further information from our website www.dkut.ac.ke and additionally on www.tenders.go.ke and email procurement@dkut.ac.ke before then.

This notice is issued in compliance to section 103 (2) (a) and (d) of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and Regulation 90(1-8) of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Regulations 2020.Bidder’s shall submit an original and a copy of tender documents clearly marked “Original” or “Copy” and packaged together. Sealed and duly completed tender documents in plain envelopes indicating the Tender Number and without identifying the sender must be addressed to:

                                                 Nyeri, Kenya.

And be deposited in the Tender Box provided at the entrance to the Resource Center II so as to be received on or before Wednesday 24th June, 2026 at 11:00am East African Time. Tender documents shall be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the 2nd Floor Lenana Boardroom.
