DeKUT Recognized at the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Awards 2025

DeKUT has once again demonstrated its leadership in sustainability after being recognized as the 1st Runners Up in the National Government category at the Annual Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Awards 2025. The prestigious event celebrates institutions that are making outstanding contributions toward achieving the global development agenda. Representing the University at the ceremony was the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration and Finance, Prof. Esther Magiri, whose presence underscored DeKUT’s unwavering commitment to sustainable development. Her participation highlighted the University’s deliberate efforts to integrate the SDGs into its core operations through research, innovation, community engagement, and institutional excellence.
