Online Workers Community Meet-Up

Today, 17th November 2023, the Lower Central Region Ajira Digital Online Workers Community held a physical meet-up at DeKUT. The event targeted young people who have undergone the Ajira Digital Training and earn decent wages through various online platforms. The aim of this quarterly Online Workers Meet–Up is to bring online workers together to share their different experiences working online, strengthen the Online Workers Community, provide beginner online workers with an opportunity to interact with experienced online workers and BPOs, encourage community mentorship in different online work categories and create/expand linkage communities. Guests gracing the event included the Ministry of ICT, Innovation & Youth Affairs, KEPSA, eMobilis, Regional Collaborators representatives, and the Ajira Digital Program participants.
