Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies has been an ongoing, continuous conversation and once again, we were privileged to be the co-host of the DIES Africa Regional Workshop on Management of Internationalization Training Programme jointly organized by the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Rectors Conference (HRK). The programme took place virtually from 6th April to 16th April, 2021 and drew participants from ten different countries in Africa and Europe. This workshop’s aim was to bring together university managers to equip them with skills on how to manage processes and tasks of internationalization in higher education andenable participants to build improved and more effective internationalization structures in their home universities.

Hosting this workshop was a significant milestone for the University in being counted among the peer universities that have embraced internationalization in the quest to become world-class universities.
