Mt. Kenya Regional Actuarial Convention

On March 18, 2022, the Statistics and Actuarial Science Department, in collaboration with the Actuarial Students Society of Kenya, held the Mt. Kenya Regional Actuarial Convention. The Actuarial Students' Society of Kenya is a national organization representing student actuaries and students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science in Kenya. Its mission and goal is to promote the actuarial profession by organizing special events for students to interact, share ideas, compete in product development, and engage with actuaries in the profession. "Leveraging Technological Advancements to Bring Transformative Change" was the theme this year.
